He frequently participated in online poetry contests and, in 2005, earned the prestigious Editor's Choice Award from poetry.com and the International Library of Poetry. Growing up in a family of 12 in Columbus, MS, Eliab developed a strong sense of resilience and creativity. Over the years, he expanded his skills by working in the culinary industry and later transitioned into the world of mechanics, showcasing his adaptability and determination.

Eliab eventually launched his own business, focusing on hauling goods across state lines while helping others stay on the move with dependable transportation . Along the way, he became a proud father to a daughter and a son who bring endless joy and energy to his life. Whether it’s playing video games together or enjoying outdoor adventures, they keep him on his toes. Life has been a roller coaster for Eliab, but every twist and turn has shaped him into the strong, dedicated man and father he is today.
